A sunset just outside of the Cincinnati Zoo. I was finally able to catch a recent lightning storm. Shooting lightning is harder than it seems, especially without a lightning trigger that signals the shutter to trigger at the instance of a bright light source. I simply set the shutter to 30 seconds and hoped for the best. This was the only picture, of about 40, that contained lightning.
Photography for fun... that's my goal. I was born and raised in Cincinnati Ohio. I journey to the different parts of this pale blue dot and record my journey along the way. Feel free to post and follow this blog. Comments and criticism are always welcome.

Sunshine and Lightning
